-snort- I'm retarded. And listening to Slipknot for the first time in about .. oh, five years, I'd say. It's liberating, in a way, though it makes me want to write something extremely angry and quite possibly horrific. I've realized, though, why I stopped listening to them in the first place -- pretty much everything after their self-titled album was CRAP. IOWA was horrible. The one after that, with Duality and all that .. it wasn't terrible, but the best part of that one was Vermilion pt. 2. So I'm cycling through their self-titled, screaming to myself along with (sic) and Tattered and Torn. Makes me feel like a kid again, it does. You don't even know.

Mm, so. Status updates? You asked for it. The next chapter of Observation is where it was the last time I talked about it -- I don't think it was even five hundred words yet? I'm not sure. I need to get a feel for it, and it isn't coming, for some reason. So, for the time being, I'm just going to let it sit .. let some ideas build up, because I don't want to rush anything and force it. Also shoving aside the fact that I desperately want to write some Zack/Cloud stuff -- [I fucking refuse to call is "Clack." I'm sorry. Aside from the fact that it sounds like a duck with something stuck in its throat, it implies that Cloud tops, which he most certainly doesn't.] I still have several oneshots that I need to work on. Being waist-deep in two fandoms at once has never been too .. beneficial for me, but I can't help it. Sometimes I have the attention span, and sometimes I don't. Right now, I'm trying to discern whether I do or not. -huffs-

So. What else? I finished Re:CoM yesterday, finally. The end battle with Ansem was entirely too fucking easy. Riku's part in general was too fucking easy, compared to the trouble I had with VEXEN in Sora's part. Fucking .. ice-monger .. I hate him. So, I can focus my full attention on Crisis Core again. Which makes me a happy, happy girl because I'm entirely too obsessed with one Zack Fair. History repeats itself. This is precisely what was going on this time last year. Hmn ..

I guess that's it for now, unless I can think of something else interesting to say. I know, I know -- I'm not very interesting recently. Hell, it's been almost a month since I posted a journal. I'm slipping, aren't I? Better get my ass in gear.
